Main Event Wrestling Card Game

Main Event Wrestling is a card game for two or more players. Each player plays a professional wrestler, making decisions that determine what the wrestler does in the ring, and how he handles his career.

Wrestlers compete in Matches. Most Matches are contests between two wrestlers. Players may wish to use optional Match types that permit many wrestlers at once. Each wrestler moves around the Ring and plays cards to wear out and eventually Pin or Knock Out his opponent.

The game is played as a series of turns. There is no turn limit, but the Match ends when the card deck is shuffled a number of times equal to the number of players. Each turn is composed of the following phases, carried out in the following order:

Player turns over Momentum to Opponent
Injury Phase
Move Injury Markers
Move Fatigue Markers
Draw Hands to Full

When a player wishes to design a wrestler from scratch, he or she gets 16 Training points to spend. These points may be spent to raise the wrestler’s Attributes and train the wrestler with special moves.
