A simple model to assemble for sure but don't let it's simpllicity fool you. There are a lot of eye catching details in this model that are just as much fun to look at as they are to assemble. The small wood pile and cargo boxes only add to it's charm. As always I assemble the main body with foam core for improved quality and durability. A few extra steps but well worth the effort.

First model I've built since the early 00's. Looks and details are gorgeous! One of the less difficult models to assemble.

Really pleased with this model. Found it very easy to build but as with all the kits with supports for overhanging parts I am making the supports out of wood.

The range of buildings are gradually being collected to build a town for my narrow gauge railway

This is an awesome model. Place this and a couple of warehouses together and you have a good commercial/warhouse district. When building, remember to cut the hole for the crane and to glue the crane dormer to the wall before completing the main building... it's in the instructions but it's easy to forget.

Another lovely model from Dave. The perfect addition to any harbour setting, It would nicely as part of a warehouse district too. Initially I found it a little daunting as it incorporates features I hadn't previously attempted, like the support beams under the crane dormer. The new detailed instructions are a god-send, as they clearly show how every step is done, complete with photos and modelling tips. Normally I would object to the ink usage but I can only applaud Dave for making life a lot easier. Every part fitted together nicely and I was able to complete this model in three hours from printing with no loss of quality. The base needs some care to ensure a good fit of the side panels. The hole for the crane arm should cut out very carefully with a sharp knife to ensure a good fit and hook is very tricky to cut out. That being said, even a novice should be able to make of good job of this one. As extra bonus, you get a 15mm version ready to print on a single page. If you never build another DGM model, which I doubt, build this one.

I really likes this building. The protruding crane really adds a nice 3-D detail to an already simple but functionally designed piece of scenery. I would love to see this same idea used as a possible add-on to some of the multiple-story pieces already produced, such as the waterfront store house. The only thing I did not like about this piece was that because it is a "Rake's Corner" piece, there are no multiple layers to play around with. That being said, I still really like the model and am glad I bought it.
