Lizardfolk: Tokens & Avatars for Virtual Tabletops

Lizardfolk: Tokens & Avatars for Virtual Tabletops In a recent game I came across a lizardfolk. I knew what they looked like from the picture in the Monster Manual, but I really wish we had had these tokens then. They are so well made and I am sure would have increased immersion in that game session. Next time I'll be ready.

Human Troops: Tokens & Avatars for Virtual Tabletops I play a lot of virtual games and nobody likes to be represented by something they are not on the computer screen for all to see. This solves that problem and they of course help with game immersion.

CQB: Futuristic Skirmish Miniatures Rules There is so much good information in this book. The content seems all encompassing and some of it even feels like bonus material, like the ship designs. They are fantastic! You can tell a lot of hard work was put into it. Definately worth the money.

Steel and Glory, Set 1, Mini-Game #45

Steel and Glory, Set 1, Mini-Game #45 Hi, I asked for some answers about ambiguities concerning the rules: ''I don't understand how the shields are supposed to work. Did they give a +2 modifier to the attack skill of the wielder (a penalty?). Same question about the leather straps (-1 to ... what? resistance ? combat skill?) And what's the use of a second (inferior) weapon who gives a disavantage (dagger)? Some weapons have a "-" modifier and some a "+0" what is the difference? the strength seems unusefull except, maybe, for some non-combat actions (unexplained)? these rules seems so interesting, but ...'' Obviously, the author behind this "rules' doesn't care. a waste of money, and a lack of consideration for customers. (one more time: all purposes ... from the same author) Disapointing. So 2 Stars, (et encore, parce que je suis gentil). should be 4 with some answers Bonsoir. Edit: Now, after the author's answers, I gave it another try, and the game appear to be fun and simple (but not simplistic) ......

Smuggler's Rowboat Paper Model

Smuggler's Rowboat Paper Model Excellent product. I needed a small boat for a medieval docks setting and this model fit perfectly with the Ravenfell Docks from Fat Dragon Games. Until now I have built the two single-layered options that come with the product (which is just excellent when you don't exactly know how would you like to customize your first boat) - one with a sail and one without (the sail is replaced with many chests and crates, excellent for smugglers). The building was fairly easy and quicker than I firstg imagine. The instructions are pretty clear, but the second one came out better than the first, which is reasonable. Assembling the sail is a bit fiddly, but tis is NOT a complaint! When done, the sail looks great and in proportion to the rest of the boat, so you just have to fiddle if you want it to look great, and it does. Check out assembled pic on: https://photos.app.goo.gl/UXDno6onFTZr5Hc3A Dave has done an awesome job, not falling short from his other models. Way to go, I am very pleased...

Four Against Darkness

Four Against Darkness I'm perpetually experimenting with different solo-engines, random tables, oracles, geomorphs, etc. But whenever I want to take a break from that & simply have some fun playing an old school dungeon crawler, I keep coming back to Four Against Darkness (4AD). Because it's one of the best solo engines I've come across for that. It might be easy to overlook 4AD as a good system for solo dungeon crawls because of how simple it looks. But its simplicity is its strength: Instead of taking an everything-and-the-kitchen-sink approach to table-driven solo-gaming (such as with a massive tome of tables or etc), it just takes a very minimalist approach. Though table-driven, its focus seems to be more on just making sure every bit and piece of what it does is perfect. 4AD is also so simply organized and modular, it's easy to modify it into whatever you want just by substituting your own tables where they fit into its system. It's clearly designed for that purpose, & hard to resist tinkering...

Dreadnoughts At Dawn

Dreadnoughts At Dawn This is a really great rule set. Slightly more depth than General Quarters and (in my humble opinion) much more fun to play. I love the mechanics. They work really well, are simple, intuitive, well balanced and above all FUN! I find that the game is historically sympathetic without having to go into unnecessary detail that would slow down play and possibly detract from the fun. Much of the historic and technical detail is abstracted into the rule set and this seems to work well whilst providing battles that play and end as one would broadly expect. The points system for the orders of battle works and the battles/outcomes are never one sided - even when everything is going against you (as happened to me this weekend). Tracking in game can be achieved in one of two ways, the first using small dice in dice cells and the second by way of tracking sheets for the ships. I find both work really well, although I prefer the tracking sheets. I plan to make some small laminated cards to...

SCAII.2 Cavalier Attitude Cavalier Attitude is an excellent publication. With this issue, I really enjoyed the description of the Shadow Gnome and the location The Crystal Tavern. Both excellent resources for the busy GM to work into his or her setting. And, as with other Starry Knight products, the artwork is top notch, showing off the best of the old-school RPG artists.

Auto Combat Short Ramps

Auto Combat Short Ramps The textures are nice and the pieces are exactly what would be expected. The default scale works perfectly for Hot Wheels cars and still looks good when used with 32mm models. It is a bit disappointing that the barriers are rectangular prisms but their graphics have a definite top and bottom. It would have been nice to make a single large set of barriers with arrows on them and just place them as either right or left facing arrows as needed instead of needing to make a batch of left arrow barriers and right arrow barriers. I would have also appreciated a flat fold option for the barriers like what was done on the turrets in the Auto Combat Gun Turrets pack. Those things are what kept this from being a 5 star review....

Auto Combat Gun Turrets
by Doug L.

Auto Combat Gun Turrets This is an excellent purchase for anyone who is looking to knock out some quick gates for Gaslands. The textures look great and I really liked the flat fold option on the turrets. The turrets are reasonably sturdy when printed on 110lbs cardstock and assembled without gluing. The turrets come out a nice size to use with 32mm miniatures even without enlarging them to 125%. They are large enough for human sized and slight larger models to hide behind but larger models on 50mm and bigger bases will have trouble hiding. Any terrain piece that can be used for multiple game systems is appealing to me. The one complaint I have about the set is that I would have liked the gate ground piece to have ended squared off and long enough set turrets on with some of the texture continuing around the edge. This would have made it easier to the turret onto if mouting the gate ground on something with much thickness. The extra bit of texture would have made things look a bit cleaner when not perma...
